The contract between us
We must receive payment of the whole of the price for the goods that you order before your order can be accepted. Once payment has been received by us we will confirm that your order has been accepted by sending an email to you at the email address you provide in your order form. Our acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract between us.
The prices payable for goods that you order are as set out in our website. You will be required to pay extra for delivery and it might not be possible for us to deliver to some locations. Our delivery charges are set out in our website.
All orders are bespoke and custom made for you. We are only able to cancel orders if the order has not yet reached production stage. As such, we cannot cancel orders under any circumstances once they are in the production stage.
Cancellation by us
We reserve the right to cancel the contract between us if:
- we have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered;
- we do not deliver to your area; or
- one or more of the goods you ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or an error in the pricing information received by us from our suppliers.
If we cancel your contract we will notify you by email and will credit to your account any sum deducted by us from your credit card as soon as possible but in any event within 30 days of your order. We will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered.

You will become the owner of the goods you have ordered when they have been delivered to you. Once goods have been delivered to you they will be held at your own risk and we will not be liable for their loss or destruction.

You must observe and comply with all applicable regulations and legislation, including obtaining all necessary customs, import or other permits to purchase goods from our site. The importation or exportation of certain of our goods to you may be prohibited by certain national laws. We make no representation and accept no liability in respect of the export or import of the goods you purchase.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to limit any rights you might have as a consumer under applicable local law or other statutory rights that may not be excluded nor in any way to exclude or limit our liability to you for any death or personal injury resulting from our negligence.

All items are 99.9% pure silver and can be hallmarked if required. All items are hand crafted in our workshop by jewellery designer and founder, Bethan Jarvis. Some surface variation is to be expected and adds to the individuality of each piece. There is between an 8-12% shrinkage after firing.
Every finger print is different. For babies less than eight months old, the finger print may be less developed than that of an older child. We have developed a method of taking prints from babies less than 8 months, which enables us to get the best possible outcome from the moulds. When you order on-line or over the phone, full instructions will be given on how to take the perfect fingerprint impression. We advise that this method is used on all children less than three, as well as the usual method, then we can select which impressions are best to work with. As fingerprints are unique and differ from person to person, some fingerprints in children older than eight months can also be less defined. Please ensure you are happy with the detail of your prints before returning to us.
Names on front and back of jewellery
We are able to put names on the front of the jewellery, the size of the jewellery determins how many letters it can hold.
We use silver clay, that means the silver is clay form. We are able to put names/initials on the back of the jewellery, but this can effect the fingerprint impressions on the front of the jewellery so in some cases we can not put the names on the back. In some cases we are able to put initials/names on the back, but as our priority is to make sure that the fingerprint impression is the best possible, we can not press very hard into the back of the silver clay as this might 'spoil' the fingerprint on the front. This would mean that some of the letters might be deeper than others. Every order is different and during each and every consultation/order process at events we do explain this to customers, therefore we will not accept returns if a customer is unsatisfactory with the back of the jewellery.
Please follow the instructions carefully when making fingerprint moulds using the moulding material. If you are not happy with the results of all three moulds, we will send out another kit completely free of charge. Should you not be satisfied with the moulds produced with the second kit, we will charge a fee of £10 for the supply and postage of any subsequent kit.
We hope that you will be delighted with your Fingerprint Jewellery Studio product and we aim to produce the best results from your mould. Should a problem occur please contact us. Because all of our jewellery is bespoke and custom made just for you, all sales are final and we are therefore unable to offer refunds or exchanges, including incidences of poor quality fingerprint impressions. We do recommend that if you are not happy with the moulds you have taken with the first kit, let us know and we’ll send out another kit free of charge, to make further moulds. If you are unsure of anything when placing your order, we recommend that you contact us prior to placing your order online. If the finished jewellery arrives damaged, we will arrange a replacement after the original is returned to us within 14 days.
